Transport Company Manager

To enhance our team, we are now seeking for 1 Transport Company Manager. We will consider candidates with at least 2 year’s relevant work experience or have a relevant level 6 or higher qualification or equivalent certificates or may major bachelor degree

Vacancy details:

• Type of employment: Permanent and full time

• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week will be guaranteed. Maximum hours would be 60 hours per week during busy workload

• Workdays: Monday to Saturday

• Place of Work: Auckland Region

• We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on your personal skills and experiences

Duties we are looking for:

• Coordinating the logistics of goods transportation, including planning routes and scheduling.

• Overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure the trucking fleet operates optimally.

• Supervising and coordinating drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.

• Handling customer inquiries, bookings, and complaints while ensuring compliance with transportation laws and regulations.

• Monitoring transportation costs, managing budgets, and promoting safety in all aspects of the business.

Preferred but not essential for role:

• Strong organizational skills for effective management of schedules, routes, and logistics.

• Proficiency in transportation laws, regulations, safety standards, and transportation management systems.
