Covering a broad range of GST, Customs and FBT issues our team works with some of the biggest and best clients to deliver outstanding tax advice and exceed our client’s expectations and partner with their business to grow.

Job Description
You will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Contribute to the high performance of the team (this is a fast paced environment requiring good organisational skills).
- Collaborating across businesses and borders, to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Applying knowledge and skills of relevant tax rules and regulations in areas of specialisation to client problems.
- Proactively keeping abreast of legislative changes and ensuring they are reflective in planning and client conversations.
- Sharing knowledge and experiences to support the development of peers and junior staff.
- Acting as a role model and recognising others for the impact they make.
About You:
- A genuine enthusiasm for GST, Global Trade and/or FBT, a desire to learn more and keep up to date with and comment on current and pending NZ tax legislation in your specialist area(s)
- 2+ years’ work experience in a tax environment, with experience in GST and/or Customs and/or FBT
- Public practice / professional advisor experience not required – you may currently work in an in-house role and be keen to broaden your experience across multiple industries and clients
- Completed your professional qualification
- An ability to understand client businesses to identify risks, opportunities and areas for future improvement in processes and controls
- Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and identify issues in a workshop setting quickly
- You will focus on delivering exceptional client service and maximising results while working in a high-performance team
- Great attention to detail in your written work and an ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas to audiences with varying levels of tax technical knowledge
