We are seeking a friendly and experienced individual to join a lovely accounts payable team, on a 7-month fixed-term contract covering a secondment.

About The Role

In this role, you will accurately process supplier invoices and payments in a timely and efficient manner. As the Senior Assistant in the team you will also oversee accounts payable processing across the team, ensuring accuracy in areas like GST checks and invoice validation. Other tasks will include:

  • Data entry and posting transactions into the finance system
  • Assist with purchase card management and related processes (training will be provided).
  • Prepare consolidated invoices
  • Respond to supplier queries regarding invoices, payments,
  • Work with basic Excel spreadsheets (no advanced skills needed).

About you:

Skills

You will have previous experience across Accounts Payable and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a small team. You will also possess the following skills/attributes:

  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good english communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Friendly personality
  • Familiarity with finance systems, especially Technology One, is an advantage but not essential.

  • Flexible start times. Typically starting between 7:30 am and 8:30 am.
