Maintenance Delivery Manager | Transmission Projects

The opportunity

Join our Energy & Utilities team supporting the successful delivery of NZ transmission projects in a Maintenance Delivery Manager opportunity! You will play a vital part in the daily operations of our long-term contract with key clients. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Taupo, Waikato that offers a flexible working structure.

What you'll do

• Mentor and lead a team of direct reports ensuring a high delivery standard across the projects.
• Manage assigned defect maintenance budget including selection and pricing of defects identified by field staff and the client.
• Undertake depot and site audits of plant and equipment to monitor compliance.
• Promote and enforce Downers Zero Harm standard to ensure a safe environment for the people, communities and environment in which we work.

What we're looking for

• Experience in Transmission maintenance, construction or similar is desirable.
• Prior experience in a Delivery Manager or a Senior Manager capacity within a major projects industry.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing an operational team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and customers at all levels.
