Your Tasks

As a Senior Expert Inspection Engineer, you will undertake complex engineering and risk-based inspection assignments, focusing on the development of new or improved processes and products. You will play a critical role in planning and organizing mechanical and inspection engineering activities to meet specified objectives and targets set by management for pressure equipment, tanks, structures, pipelines, and other relevant static equipment.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

 Performing complex risk-based inspection (RBI) assessments to optimize and extend inspection frequencies, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance.

 Developing and implementing robust inspection strategies tailored to meet "Fit for Purpose" standards.

 Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work/ in Employment regulations, particularly concerning Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways.

 Liaising effectively with inspection bodies and certifying authorities to uphold industry standards and regulations.

 Providing technical guidance and leadership to inspection companies, ensuring adherence to established best practices and safety protocols.

 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Your Profile

 University Degree Master/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Inspection Engineering or a related field.

 A minimum of >7 years’ experience in mechanical or structural engineering, with a focus on inspection and compliance.

 Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and codes related to pressure equipment and static structures.

 Proven experience in risk-based inspection methodologies and developing inspection strategies.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.

 Professional certifications (e.g. API, AS/NZ) are a distinct advantage.
