We are looking for 2x Cooks, to come and join our café in Hamilton! This is a full-time
role, and we offer a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a maximum of up to 50 hours.

The tasks you will do:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and FOH staff to manage food inventory and ordering
supplies.
Maintain a positive and efficient work environment under pressure during busy
periods.
Demonstrate some cooking knowledge and know how when preparing food.
Cut, chop, clean, peel, and prepare various foods for cooking.Store food in their appropriate storage areas (temperature controlled facilities,
fridges, etc.)
We would prefer the successful candidates to have the following:
Some knowledge of food safety and best practices
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Passion for cooking and creativity in food preparation.
Flexibility to work on weekends.
Must be a clean, tidy person with good personal hygiene, and ideally have some
knowledge of hygiene standards.
Training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Please note that successful candidates will need to complete a MoJ Convictions
check and a Drug Test prior to starting employment. Please include your New
Zealand visa status in your application if you are not a New Zealand Citizen or resident.
