You will be dynamic, strategic and dedicated to criminal defence. You want to tackle complex cases head-on and undertake some of the best work in the country – there is no shortage of work – and you’ll work amongst a team with a great reputation amongst the judiciary, profession and clients.

With a mix of private and legal aid clients, you’ll further deepen your expertise to lead high-profile matters in the District and High Courts and undertake appellate work as your experience allows. You’ll be keen to mentor and develop our team to further successes.

The role:

• Solid court (and possibly appellate) experience across a wide range of criminal cases
• Natural aptitude to mentor ‘up’ 
• 4 plus PQE
• Proven ability to manage complex files and meet deadlines
• Strong advocacy, analytical and communication skills
