ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site, ensure project specifications are met and coordinate with various teams to deliver quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be Taupo based or have the ability to relocate without assistance. They will hold strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
ABOUT YOU
Reporting to the Construction Manager to support our Contracts Managers in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions you will hold:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum two years New Zealand experience as a Site Engineer for infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations and quality standards.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work without supervision.
- Leads by example, is approachable and able to supervise, mentor and support others. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
