Stock Controller and Driver - Queen Street

Description

We are looking for a stock person controller & driver that can work independently and within a team environment to help our Queen St, Auckland store thrive, with providing strong stock accuracy, flow that positively impacts our customers

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain stock accuracy through regular counts and reconciliation processes

Receive, count, and store all fortnightly stock deliveries from Australia, including handling multiple pallets Coordinate and manage stock transfers twice weekly from the Silverdale warehouse to the Queen Street store (typically Mondays and Thursdays) Process and organise fortnightly incoming deliveries to the Silverdale location (typically Thursdays) Communicate effectively with remote teams and management, following instructions provided via email and other digital platforms Support the in-store team with visual merchandising (VM) and day-to-day retail operations
• Ensure all stock handling and storage processes align with company standards and efficiency targets

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience in stock management, including accurate counting and handling large deliveries
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock transfers and coordinate logistics
• Effective communicator, comfortable following remote instructions and working independently
• Knowledge of retail operations, including visual merchandising and general store support
• High attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in stock handling
• Full Car License
• Own reliable Vehicle & insurance
• 10-15hrs per week, Mondays and Thursdays with some flexibility required to meet business needs
• Hourly rate $27.80 + mileage
