Two Full-Time Permanent Positions at Tauranga Sparkle Cleaners Limited, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week.
Salary: NZD$ 24-26 /- per hour
About us:
We do in-depth cleaning of all sorts of commercial and residential premises. We are based in Tauranga and looking for a Cleaner to join our team to look after our contracted sites for cleaning in and around Bay of Plenty region.
You key Responsibilities include :
1. Vacuuming carpets, curtains and upholstered furniture
2. Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings
3. Removing rubbish and recyclable material, and emptying containers, bins and trays
4. Stripping wax from floors, re-waxing and polishing floors
5. Cleaning and disinfecting laundry and bathroom fixtures, replenishing supplies and reporting defective plumbing fixtures
6. Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas and machines
7. Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes and fixtures
8. Applying acids and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt
9. Removing lint, dust, soot, oil, grease, sludge and other residues from machines, hulls and holds of ships, and interiors and exteriors of furnaces, boilers and tanks
10. Clean exteriors of buildings by Water blasting or sand-blasting and applying solvents
11. Following Health and Safety Requirements
12. Other duties that may be allocated as required.
Requirements:
1. Physically Fit
2. NZ Register Level 1 qualification, or compulsory secondary education
3. Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice check and drug test
4. Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment.
5. Motivational and leadership skills.
6. Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
7. Reliable and flexible to change.
Please note, this is a full-time position with rostered/split shifts, including weekends and late evening and night shifts. Applicant should be available as per the rostered shifts including weekends and late evening and night shifts
