What is the role
As an AV Install Technician, you will perform hands-on installation of a wide range of video conferencing and integrated audio and UC equipment into Ministry and Corporate boardrooms and meeting rooms. You will work to deploy the latest technical equipment and solutions either on your own or working as part of an installation team. Once a system is installed, you will commission the system and solve any technical issues, liaising with clients to ensure their satisfaction. You will be responsible to install and commission Yealink, Poly, QSC, Crestron or Extron designed solutions.
You will also be called upon to provide break/fix support to clients as required. This role offers the opportunity to receive on-going training and development to keep you up to date with the latest technologies in the integrated AV systems and unified communications market.
IMPORTANT: This role requires travel outside of the region.

What is the role

IMPORTANT: This role requires travel outside of the region.
- Must be a NZ Citizen or hold permanent residency
- Must have a NZ Driver's License (Full or Restricted)
- Will be required to complete MOJ Check and maybe required to completed Drug testing for client site access.
- Experience with Crestron, QSC, Shure, Extron, Yealink, Logitech, Poly, Samsung, LG, Absen, Netgear and Cisco are desirable.
- Proven knowledge of installation techniques are essential.
- Physical installation, product configuration, testing and commissioning experience.
- Neat tidy workmanship and a focus on quality.
- Accurate and concise communication.
- ICIA CTS certification is desirable.
