Senior Structural Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our Christchurch-based team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with approximately 70% focused on residential new builds, including high-end architecturally designed homes, multi-unit apartments, and retirement villages, as well as a range of industrial and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and documentation across a variety of projects.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and clients to deliver innovative and practical engineering solutions.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve construction issues, and ensure compliance with NZ codes and standards.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings, representing the company professionally and confidently.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of structural engineering experience, with a strong track record in NZ delivering residential design work.
• Proven experience and genuine interest in residential projects.
• CPEng status in NZ, or actively progressing toward registration.
• Strong knowledge of NZ codes, standards, and construction methods.
