Concrete Pump Operator
Working In

We are looking for experienced concrete pump operators to join our team located in Auckland.
The purpose of this role is to operate concrete pump, boom, line and/or others as required.
Your duties and responsibilities include:
- To complete scheduled jobs to agreed quality standards
- Report any operational issues to the office
- Maintain communication with the office, ensuring all communication is appropriate and sufficient
- Provide training to other members of staff as and when required
- Complete all appropriate documentation, this includes but is not limited to:
- Pump inspection and maintenance forms
- Site inspection forms
- Incident reports where required
- Safeguard the Employers plant and equipment, including company vehicles
- Wear all appropriate PPE required to perform the job safely
Daily Checks:
- Check oil and water
- Grease machine and delivery line
- Ensure 50mm and 100mm hoses, pipeline, clamps and reducers are clean
- Carry out a visual inspection of delivery line before and during pumping
- Advise workshop of anything which requires repair
Weekly Checks:
- Check clamps and delivery line for leaking rubbers
- Check for oil leaks
- Ensure swing tube is clean, also checking this after any job where build up has occurred
- Advise workshop of anything which requires repair
Monthly Checks
- Concrete pump, truck and any other machinery is kept clean inside and out
- Itemise equipment on pump and/or truck
- Ensure current COF, WOF and RUC for trucks, trailers, and pumps
Cleaning
- The wash down of the concrete pump and truck is your responsibility, ensure that it is done according to our washout procedure plan. DO NOT wash into storm water drains, DO NOT leave huge mounds of concrete on the building site, DO NOT leave huge mounds of concrete at our yard. Be considerate in your washout.
To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as this is an intermediate-advanced role at our team.
Be punctual and work the hours and time specified
Prioritise workload to ensure work of the greatest importance is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard.
Support and help develop a positive workplace culture.
Demonstrate through own actions a commitment to health and safety at work when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace.
For the right candidates, we offer a salary of $72,800 - $99,840 per annum, with 35 to 40 hours per week.
