Job Summary

As a Cabinet Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and design plans for kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. You’ll collaborate with homeowners, architects, and builders to turn their vision into reality—combining aesthetics with function.

Your expertise in materials, finishes, and space optimization techniques will be essential in completing projects that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialize in the design and customization of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and storage solutions.
• Provide expert knowledge of cabinetry materials, finishes, hardware, and their functionality.
• Optimize layout, style, and storage tailored to kitchen and bathroom spaces.
• Conduct site visits and space assessments to gather measurements and relevant design input.
• Collaborate with clients to create tailored cabinetry design plans and specifications.
• Produce detailed layouts and 3D renderings using professional design software.
• Present and revise design proposals based on client feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure cabinet designs align with plumbing, electrical, and structural constraints for safety and compliance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records, including billing documentation and design files.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Cabinet Designer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other 3D design tools).
• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods, materials, and hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing previous kitchen and bathroom design work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with current trends and innovations in kitchen and bath design.
• Understanding of relevant safety regulations and technical considerations (e.g., water and electrical placement).
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus
