Marketing Resourcer
Position Purpose: An externally focussed role, to provide candidate resourcing and
candidate searching support to the Staff Recruitment Advisors,
advertising co-ordination and marketing for staff recruitment vacancies,
and to maintain social network recruitment, marketing functionality,
recruitment reach capability, quality assurance and immigration support
to the Staff Recruitment team

Context: Recruitment People and Culture enables the University to attract and

The Staff Recruitment Talent and Marketing Resourcer provides
candidate resourcing and candidate searching support to strengthen the
Staff Recruitment Function, and to maintain social network recruitment
and marketing functionality, quality assurance and specialist
administrative support to the Staff Recruitment team.

Accountabilities
Recruitment and • Directly support Staff Recruitment Advisors conducting research,
Candidate Sourcing recording, and cataloguing of candidates
- Maintain LinkedIn Recruiter tool and functionality ensuring
- Operate and optimise other candidate sourcing tools and software in
- Actively search other university databases to identify potential
- Follows best practice and sourcing policies, procedures, and

Staff Recruitment • Manage all enquiries received through [email protected],

- Supports the Staff Recruitment Co-Ordinator with erecruiT functions

- Coordinates and processes pre-employment checks and qualification
- Coordinates immigration support and provides administration support
- Communicates with specialist immigration providers as needed
- Communicates with those needing immigration assistance as needed
- Maintains central immigration assistance register
Customer Service • Acts as the first point of contact for external recruitment enquiries
- Always provides exceptional customer service by responding
- Is an active contributor to continuous internal process improvement
Computer Proficiency • Uses preferences and other tools to customise computer
software/hardware appropriate for the function
- Identifies and resolves common software usage problems
- Assists in testing and implementing new system versions / HR

- Completes checks on data and escalates issues with appropriate

Information Capture • Fulfils routine information capture needs in own area with accuracy,

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications: • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource and/or Marketing
qualifications
Experience: • Knowledge of Te Ao Māori highly beneficial
- Proven research and administrative experience, ideally in the tertiary
education and/or recruitment sector
- Experience and aptitude for website content maintenance,
- Sound understanding of social network forums will be an advantage
- Understanding of the development and monitoring of online marketing
- Intermediate level knowledge and experience in the use of Office 365
- Proven experience working across cultures and sensitive to cultural
