Marketing Resourcer

Position Purpose: An externally focussed role, to provide candidate resourcing and
candidate searching support to the Staff Recruitment Advisors,
advertising co-ordination and marketing for staff recruitment vacancies,
and to maintain social network recruitment, marketing functionality,
recruitment reach capability, quality assurance and immigration support
to the Staff Recruitment team

Context: Recruitment People and Culture enables the University to attract and
engage great people and provide an environment that supports Massey

people to develop and contribute their talents to the mission of the
University and to provide the best working environment for all our staff by
enabling effective management of the University's assets, including:
people, process and information.

The Staff Recruitment Talent and Marketing Resourcer provides
candidate resourcing and candidate searching support to strengthen the
Staff Recruitment Function, and to maintain social network recruitment
and marketing functionality, quality assurance and specialist
administrative support to the Staff Recruitment team.

Accountabilities

Recruitment and • Directly support Staff Recruitment Advisors conducting research,
Candidate Sourcing recording, and cataloguing of candidates

  • Maintain LinkedIn Recruiter tool and functionality ensuring
optimisation of this resource to proactively identify candidates
  • Operate and optimise other candidate sourcing tools and software in
alignment with Staff Recruitment targets and business plan
  • Actively search other university databases to identify potential
candidates
  • Follows best practice and sourcing policies, procedures, and
protocols
  • Sources and identifies candidates through various channels, actively
supporting SRA recruitment activity
  • Maintain candidate databases using available search tools and
applicable network mediums

Marketing and Digital • Contribute to the creation and management of strategic
Promotion communications plans, including content creation, organisation, and

delivery

  • Liaise with advertising partners and digital marketing platforms to
facilitate external communications to support Staff Recruitment
activity
  • Work with internal designers and agencies to produce high quality
content to be shared via digital media including articles, imagery,
videos, websites etc.
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of the Institute externally and
internally through timely, accurate and clear advertising of vacancies
  • Captures and instigates internal advertising related cost recovery

Staff Recruitment • Manage all enquiries received through [email protected],
Process Support responding to all enquiries in an appropriate and timely manner, and

responding to and/or escalating to the appropriate person for action

  • Supports the Staff Recruitment Co-Ordinator with erecruiT functions
as needed, assisting with training, inductions and problem trouble
shooting
  • Coordinates and processes pre-employment checks and qualification
validation/verification as needed
  • Coordinates immigration support and provides administration support
to the Staff Recruitment Manager
  • Communicates with specialist immigration providers as needed
  • Communicates with those needing immigration assistance as needed
  • Maintains central immigration assistance register

Customer Service • Acts as the first point of contact for external recruitment enquiries

  • Always provides exceptional customer service by responding
promptly and accurately to enquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Is an active contributor to continuous internal process improvement

Computer Proficiency • Uses preferences and other tools to customise computer
software/hardware appropriate for the function

  • Identifies and resolves common software usage problems
  • Assists in testing and implementing new system versions / HR
processes into HR system

  • Completes checks on data and escalates issues with appropriate
information when required
  • Is actively engaged and contributes to continuous improvement of
computer systems and tools

Information Capture • Fulfils routine information capture needs in own area with accuracy,
and Reporting efficiency, and attention to detail

  • Follows defined procedures to document all routine information
  • Identifies all relevant established standards, policies and practices
  • Uses automated tools to capture, organise and archive relevant
information
  • Provides timely analytics and reporting around advertising uptake,
audience reach and value
  • Maintains up to date media bank resources reports new and emerging
opportunities and cites examples of different types of relevant
information that needs to be captured

Collaborative team • Directly supports the Staff Recruitment Co-ordinator, filling in when
member necessary

  • Undertakes other relevant duties as requested by the Manager
  • Follows established standards and procedures for operating specific
HR systems
  • Implements HR (e.g. recruitment) tasks, projects, and processes
through HR Systems

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications: • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource and/or Marketing
qualifications

Experience: • Knowledge of Te Ao Māori highly beneficial

  • Proven research and administrative experience, ideally in the tertiary

education and/or recruitment sector

  • Experience and aptitude for website content maintenance,
digital/social/visual media, and other online platforms.
  • Sound understanding of social network forums will be an advantage
  • Understanding of the development and monitoring of online marketing
campaigns
  • Intermediate level knowledge and experience in the use of Office 365
and SharePoint
  • Proven experience working across cultures and sensitive to cultural
differences
