We're growing our team, and we have an exciting opportunity to add a new Home Ownership Consultant role to our Third Party Distribution whanau.
Te tūranga | The role:
As a Home Ownership Consultant working within our Third Party Distribution team, this role will be responsible for responding to adviser requests from across the country.
The position offers a unique opportunity for a great career path that would suit someone looking to pursue a career in lending.
In this role, you will support advisers with various requests, such as general lending enquiries and account maintenance, provide fixed term rates renewals and indicative rates, commission payment enquiries, new ASB adviser accreditation applications, as well as other home ownership administrative support.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Third-Party Distribution team and leaders across the country providing administration support, reporting and status updates contributing to the achievements of team goals.
You will be required to stay updated on policy and procedures related to the designated approval delegations and maintain a detailed understanding with the bank's lending policy and procedures.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise time effectively. You will be proficient in the use of onyx and teller and a basic understanding of home lending policies and procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Foundational knowledge of ASB Home Lending Products and Services, Lending and Credit policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Onyx and Teller systems, with a proven ability to learn new systems - AIMs, Mahi Tahi.
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written communication essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel - Intermediate level
- Demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
- Knowledge of AML requirements for onboarding new individuals and entities
- At least 18 months experience in ASB Products and Services, Lending and Credit policies and procedures, including good knowledge of Onyx Lending.
- Relevant diploma/tertiary business qualification preferred but not essential.
