We’re looking for a data-savvy and commercially minded Senior Business Performance Analyst to join our Commercial & Strategy team at the AA. What You’ll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
- Monitor and report on key business performance metrics across product lines including Life and Health Insurance.
- Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards using tools like Tableau and Excel.
- Analyse operational, sales, and customer data to uncover insights and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—Product, Finance, Marketing, Customer Experience—to ensure aligned performance reporting.
- Present insights to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations that influence decisions.
- Drive data integrity and collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to improve reporting capabilities and automate workflows.
To Thrive In This Role, You'll Bring
- 7+ years of business/financial performance analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau, SQL, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect metrics to business outcomes.
- Confident communication skills—able to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
- Experience in the financial or insurance sector is highly desirable.
