About The Role
As Administration Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our office’s smooth operation. You’ll support the Regional Manager and engineering teams by delivering a wide range of administrative functions that ensure efficiency and a positive working environment.
- Lead administration to provide effective and reliable support for project delivery
- Overseeing project administration tasks, including new project set-up, proofreading reports, and assisting with proposal preparation, formatting, and submission
- Confident managing front-of-house responsibilities and liaising with clients
- Chairing weekly office meetings, reviewing and approving minutes
- Assisting the Regional Manager with diary management, inbox prioritisation, travel arrangements, and minute-taking
- Managing office facilities, asset procurement, maintenance, and maintaining an accurate asset register
- Acting as the office IT Representative, lisaising with external IT providers
- Serving as Health and Safety representative, supported by the national team
- Collaborating with HR to support inductions
- Assisting with marketing activities such as award submissions, project case studies, and content gathering

About You
You’re a natural organiser, people person, and systems thinker, with a passion for making things work better. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Proven experience in a similar Administration Manager role, ideally backed by a tertiary qualification in Business Administration or a related field
- A warm, approachable style and genuine enthusiasm for building a positive, collaborative team culture
- Exceptional organisational skills with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple moving parts with ease
- A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability, you’re someone who anticipates needs and acts before being asked
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise across all levels of the business
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel (bonus points if you're fluent in pivot tables, Power Query, or macros)
- Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting platforms (you know your way around an invoice and a budget report)
- A curious, tech-savvy approach, with working knowledge of AI and automation tools to drive smarter, more efficient workflows
