We’re on the hunt for a results-driven and forward-thinking eCommerce Operations Specialist to join our Support Office team, where you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimising the operational engine behind every online order.


About the role:

Based in our Ellerslie Support Office, this role is all about ensuring the partnerships and processes that support our fulfilment network are operating at their best. You’ll work closely with delivery partners, store teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure our customers receive their orders efficiently, reliably, and in a way that enhances their experience with Animates.


You’ll identify and implement innovative delivery solutions that expand our service capabilities, reduce cost, and delight our customers.


 You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing delivery partner performance, from onboarding to optimisation.
  • Analysing delivery data to identify and implement cost-saving and speed-enhancing initiatives.
  • Improving the post-purchase customer experience through better tracking, communication, and delivery options.
  • Supporting fulfilment stores by refining processes and solving operational challenges.
  • Leading projects to expand serviceability (e.g. enabling faster or broader delivery solutions).
  • Enhancing subscription and repeat delivery performance through insight-led planning.
  • Must be flexible to travel domestically when required.


 You’ll bring:

  • 3+ years in eCommerce operations, logistics or a similar performance-driven role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ideally Retail or FMCG, preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into action.
  • Experience working with third-party delivery providers or logistics platforms.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with great cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail or FMCG environment.
  • A customer-centric approach and a love of pets.
