We have 2 exciting opportunities to join our Team. We are growing fast and expanding our range of services. This role is key to our growth. You will represent the fact of these services and play a vital role in taking our business to the next level.

This is for 2 Landscape Gardeners positions. This position is crucial as we grow and add new services- you will be on the front line representing our business. You will work in Tauranga and Travel within the Bay of Plenty will be required. You will be paid hourly for your travel time within the Bay of Plenty.

This is a full-time permanent role. The hourly rate for this role will be $30 per hour. This is rostered work. You need to be available from 7 am to 7 pm Monday-Sunday. This is because you need to be able to work weekends too if you are rostered on. Please note: this is a weather-dependent job, so there are no fixed days off. Roster can be changed depending on the weather, every week, or the workload. You will work a minimum of 30 hours each week and a maximum of 40 hours each week.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Formal education ( NZQA level 4 or Higher) in Horticulture, botany, plant science, or a related field OR A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field. ( All qualifications or experience must be genuine and verifiable. We may request official transcripts, references, or verification to support the application. )

Physically fit, can-do attitude, clean police report, as you have to enter our clients' properties, and able to complete tasks on time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement low‑maintenance garden layouts
  • Select & plant species suited to soil, climate, and client objectives
  • Create and follow seasonal planting schedules (mulching, weeding, edging, etc)
  • Conduct soil testing and propose fertiliser/pH correction
  • Diagnose and treat plant diseases and lawn health issues
  • Install and maintain water‑efficient irrigation systems
  • Apply organic pest and weed control and support weed‑spraying
  • Assist in hedge, shrub, and small tree trimming/pruning
  • Support ride‑on and manual mowing, edging, and turf maintenance
  • Assist in training junior staff on pruning, safety, and native plant care
  • Support project work such as garden bed installation, mulching, bark/stones, and garden tidy‑ups
  • Maintain accurate client treatment records and planting plans
  • Order necessary plants, materials, and tools
