We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Whether you’ve come up through nursing and management or have dedicated practice leadership experience, you’ll bring an operational mind and a heart for healthcare.
This pivotal role supports the Board and Clinicians while leading administrative, operational, and compliance functions.
Your Role
As Practice Manager, you’ll ensure the clinic runs seamlessly behind the scenes, so patients receive the best care, and staff are supported to do their best work.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating a small, dedicated team including performance, training, rostering, and recruitment.
- Overseeing all administrative and reception functions to ensure a smooth, welcoming patient experience.
- Managing Xero, Intrahealth, and Southern Cross systems; handling billing, payroll, and liaising with external Accountants.
- Ensuring compliance across health & safety, privacy, and complaints handling processes.
- Managing IT providers and licenses, ensuring smooth digital and systems operations.
- Supporting continuous improvement of SalutisCare services and corporate communication, updating the website, and ensuring the SalutisCare brand and service ethos are upheld.
- Providing regular reporting to the Board and maintaining strong communication across the clinic and with external partners.
About You
You're an autonomous leader, highly organised, and passionate about delivering exceptional service in a healthcare setting.
You bring:
- Proven experience in healthcare or practice management.
- Strong people leadership skills and a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
- High integrity, empathy, and professionalism, especially when working with vulnerable patients.
- Financial acumen and familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of employment law, health & safety, and privacy obligations.
- Bonus: Experience with Intrahealth and Southern Cross claiming systems.
