About the Role:
Join our Fale Talanoa Contact Centre team and play a key role in supporting Pacific whānau to access the health and wellbeing services they need – with care, culture, and connection at the heart of everything we do.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy individual to join our team based at our Regional Office in Mt Wellington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the health and wellbeing sector.
What will you be doing:
- Be the first point of contact for our clients – answering calls, managing appointments, handling online enrolments, and responding to general enquiries.
- Learn about The Fono's range of services and confidently refer clients to the right services.
- Support the smooth running of our clinics by working closely with health teams across our network.
- Grow into a potential future role in medical reception, with ongoing training and development.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a friendly and professional phone manner, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Brings customer service or contact centre experience – ideally in a medical or clinical setting.
- Is confident using technology – experience with Medtech Evolution is a big advantage.
- Speaks a Pacific language and has a strong understanding of English – this is highly valued and adds depth to the support we offer.
- Is passionate about supporting our Pacific people and creating better access to care.
