As the Testing Automation SME at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing IT and telecommunications services for our customers. You will work within the Managed Services team, collaborating with cross-functional experts to ensure seamless delivery across Fault Management, Configuration Management, and more. As the Testing Automation SME at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing IT and telecommunications services for our customers. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead the managed services delivery for fault, configuration, performance, security, and OSS management in a large-scale telecom environment.
- Drive process and practice improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, risk management, and quality in managed services.
- Utilize specialist knowledge and analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues with discretion and expertise.
- Oversee and approve high-risk methods of procedures (MoPs) and change procedures, ensuring adherence to global guidelines.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams and external partners for real-time incident management and operational continuity.
- Coach and mentor team members, supporting their professional development and performance assessment.
- Manage small teams or projects with defined risks and resource requirements, coordinating tasks and allocations effectively.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, providing level 3 technical support across core network and IT applications.
You have:
- Proven experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, and Ericsson CEE deployments in large Telecom environments.
- Advanced skills in Shell Scripting, Python, and Ansible for automation and support.
- Experience managing Telecom NFVi deployments and conducting environment life-cycling, including upgrades.
- At least 4 years in a team lead position, coordinating technical teams and mentoring staff.
- Familiarity with Nokia's CBIS and CBAM systems.
- Hands-on experience with Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and policy localization.
- Experience with OpenVMS for additional technical insights.
