What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Safety first and always – accountable for own safety as well as colleagues, customers and visitors.
• You will serve customers on the counter and over the phone - processing customer orders, responding to requests for information and pricing.
• In addition, follow-up all sales and technical enquiries to maximise sales success - liaise with Sales Representatives and Manager for approval when discounts and/or irregular quantities are requested.
• Apply reasonable judgment when making decisions and liaise with senior colleagues when required.
• You will maintain showroom displays to ensure maximum visual impact as well as having adequate stock on display.
• Ensure high levels of housekeeping throughout the counter area and the showroom.
• Furthermore, assist warehouse team when required to pick, pack, despatch orders
• Effective communication with team members in relation to workplace activity and rostering.
• You will maintain work attire to a professional standard - making a strong first impression and appearing professional at all times when representing SPW
• Attend training and information sessions including trade shows to enhance knowledge and experience.

• Strong negotiation and influencing skills are required for this role
