At Vessev, we’re building a new era of marine transport: hydrofoiling electric vessels that are better for people and the planet. Last year, we launched the VS–9 and made headlines globally. We have strong momentum and international interest, we’re now looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and CTO and help us go even faster.

This is a high-trust, high-impact role supporting two of the most technical and fast-moving people in the company. You’ll be working at the centre of a hardware company, where priorities shift quickly and context can be complex.

You don’t need to be a technical expert, but you do need to be comfortable jumping into unfamiliar territory. You might start the day managing inboxes or coordinating board prep, then shift into building a dataroom or helping with investor comms. It’s a role for someone who’s sharp, adaptable, and thrives on variety.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role is to make it easier for the executive team to focus on what matters most. You’ll work across a wide range of responsibilities, some strategic, some operational, all high-leverage.

Executive support

  • Partner with the CEO and CTO to help them stay focused, informed, and effective.
  • Manage calendars, meeting logistics, and scheduling across multiple time zones.
  • Triage and manage inboxes, follow-ups, and communications.
  • Jump into fast-moving tasks like briefing pre, data pulls or investor queries.

Business operations

  • Keep the office running smoothly, including supplies, space, and facilities.
  • Coordinate internal events, offsites, travel, and team logistics.
  • Manage systems like expenses, team coordination, and simple process improvements
  • Support bringing in world class talent into the team.

Make us 1% percent better

  • Spot bottlenecks and improve messy or unclear systems.
  • Bring order to the house with clear documentation and tidy handovers.
  • Take ownership of small projects that free up others to focus on what they do best.

About You

You’re organised, reliable, and proactive. You take pride in your attention to detail and always stay one step ahead. You’ve likely worked in an environment where reliability, responsiveness, and sound judgment were essential.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, takes satisfaction in doing things well, and genuinely enjoys supporting others.

Things that will help you do well in this role:

  • Communicate in a clear and welcoming way, both in writing and in person.
  • Know how to read a room and adapt your approach to suit the context – warm and casual when appropriate, sharp and serious when it matters.
  • Take pride in getting things right. You regularly double-check your work and don’t let balls drop.
  • Are comfortable working with numbers, whether that’s reconciling expenses or supporting investor updates.
  • Learn fast and stay composed in unfamiliar or technical environments. It’s okay if you don’t know but you’re hungry to learn.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and follow through on every detail.
  • Stay calm under pressure and are good at managing competing priorities.
  • Take initiative and enjoy finding better ways to get things done.
  • Care about outcomes, quality, and the integrity of your work.

This role could suit someone from military or engineering coordination backgrounds, technical support roles, or operational logistics. But if you enjoy bringing order to things, and want to come along for the ride, you could come from any background – surprise us!
