Environmental Sciences – Environmental Scientist/Hazardous Materials Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety
We have an opportunity for an environmental scientist/hazardous materials consultant to join our Environmental Health and Safety team in Auckland, working on or assisting with asbestos and hazardous materials management and removal projects, offering pragmatic and cost-effective solutions for our Clients. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment working on diverse, multi-disciplinary projects for some of New Zealand’s largest clients. Must be a licensed Asbestos Assessor.

Environmental Sciences – Environmental Scientist/Hazardous Materials Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety
We have an opportunity for an environmental scientist/hazardous materials consultant to join our Environmental Health and Safety team in Auckland, working on or assisting with asbestos and hazardous materials management and removal projects, offering pragmatic and cost-effective solutions for our Clients. Must be a licensed Asbestos Assessor.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting asbestos and other hazardous materials surveys
- Overseeing asbestos removal and undertaking clearance inspections
- Carrying out Occupational Hygiene and workplace exposure assessments
- Preparation of technical reports and management plans
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science
- Licensed Asbestos Assessor - essential
- 1 to 5 years’ professional experience with asbestos and hazardous materials consulting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
