We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with a focus on python development and data automation to join our Data Centre of Excellence. As the central data team, we support ongoing growth in analytics across our global company.
We are centred in ICT with strong connections across the organisation, putting us in a unique position to deliver business impact through analytics.
The Role

About You
- You are intellectually curious and excited to learn.

- You are adept at communicating complex concepts, such as retrieval augmented generation.
- You enjoy seeing people’s ‘eyes light up’ when they realise what they can achieve with their data.
- You seek out opportunities to make processes and applications more efficient.
- You love championing best practices – seeing the impact they have on your technical deliverables as well as the experience of your end users.
- You bring a sense of humour to your work.
- Experience working with an enterprise data and reporting platform. Microsoft Power BI experience is preferred. Experience with a Lakehouse platform is a bonus.
- Proficient in analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights using statistical methods and data visualization tools.
- Experienced in Python development, particularly projects involving data manipulation, developing data applications, and/or machine learning models.
- Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) development practices, including application lifecycle management for data applications such as AI and machine learning models.
- Tertiary qualification in statistics, computer science, econometrics or related field is preferred.
