Data Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with a focus on python development and data automation to join our Data Centre of Excellence. As the central data team, we support ongoing growth in analytics across our global company.

We are centred in ICT with strong connections across the organisation, putting us in a unique position to deliver business impact through analytics.

The Role

In this role, you will explore and develop innovative technologies to automate data and insights delivery. You will have the opportunity to shape impactful solutions that drive meaningful change across the organization. Your work will empower teams to uncover opportunities, streamline decision-making, and unleash the full potential of data analytics, making a tangible difference in how the business operates.

Our Team

We build critical data solutions for the organisation that are scalable and secure with the goal of enabling managed self-service BI. We also provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders around the business.

Skills And Experience

• Experience working with an enterprise data and reporting platform. Microsoft Power BI experience is preferred. Experience with a Lakehouse platform is a bonus.
• Proficient in analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights using statistical methods and data visualization tools.
• Experienced in Python development, particularly projects involving data manipulation, developing data applications, and/or machine learning models.
• Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) development practices, including application lifecycle management for data applications such as AI and machine learning models.
• Tertiary qualification in statistics, computer science, econometrics or related field is preferred.
