Our Retail Operations and Transformation team maintain a strong focus on SAP support, in-store operations, and checkouts across all three retail banners. Monitoring a range of important metrics, the team are also involved in new store openings, ownership changes, and various business initiatives.
Te Tūranga – About The Role
We’ll be extending our SAP deployment to 102 4Square stores to drive greater efficiency, automation, and consistency across operations, while continuing to support a tailored customer experience.
As the Project Coordinator, you’ll coordinate and track key activities, manage project documentation, and support the delivery of deployment milestones alongside internal teams, outsourced partners, and store teams. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role that ensures the operational side of deployment runs efficiently and you'll be central to helping the team stay organised and informed while contributing to the smooth delivery of change across the network. This role is fixed term til November 2026.

Some Of What You’ll Be Responsible Is
- Coordinating project timelines, logistics, and communications for SAP deployment into 4SQ stores.
- Managing project trackers, deployment schedules, and task lists to ensure visibility and timely completion of deliverables.
- Supporting the preparation and distribution of documentation, including training materials, store readiness templates, and meeting packs.
- Organising deployment-related meetings—preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
- Acting as a liaison between the deployment team, store personnel, and external partners to ensure aligned communication and expectations.

You’ll be an experienced Project coordinator or have robust experience in a similar administrative/project support role. As someone who has proven organisational and time management skills, you’ll have the ability to juggle multiple moving parts across different stakeholders.
You’ll Also Have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Strong skills in reporting and data tracking, including experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional style.
- High attention to detail and a process-driven approach to managing tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across store teams, internal departments, and outsourced partners.
