What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga As Product Owner for AA Life, you’ll have full end-to-end accountability for shaping and delivering the product’s strategic direction, value proposition, and commercial performance This position offers true ownership , from designing the product proposition through to leading execution and managing outcomes. You’ll be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams, partnering with external providers, and steering the product’s success in-market This is a significant role with broad scope and influence, where you’ll:

• Define and communicate a compelling product vision, strategy, and goals
• Develop and evolve the product roadmap, prioritising based on customer and business value
• Use customer insights, market research, and industry trends to inform development
• Collaborate closely with digital, regulatory, and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Manage key relationships with external product providers and internal stakeholders
• Own the P&L, driving product growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction

About You | Mōu We're looking for a senior product professional with proven experience in life or general insurance, and a strong track record of owning and delivering products end-to-end. You’ll have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and experience working in digital environments You'll also bring:

• Direct product management experience, ideally in insurance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A strategic and commercial mindset, focused on outcomes and growth
• Confidence working in ambiguous environments
• A self-motivated, proactive approach with strong execution skills
