Risk and Compliance Analyst

ICIB Brokerweb Ltd is seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Analyst to join their Auckland-based team, supporting the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager in upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance and risk management. What You'll Do

As a Risk and Compliance Analyst at ICIB Brokerweb Ltd in Auckland, your day-to-day activities will involve:

• Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance including formatting policy documents, editing files, and maintaining an effective document filing system.
• Document & SharePoint Management: Maintain and update risk and compliance documentation, and manage the dedicated SharePoint site to ensure accessibility and version control.
• ERM System Support: Record initial drafts of broker forms and log complaints accurately and promptly in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system.
• Compliance Monitoring: Conduct quality assurance checks to assess compliance with current and emerging frameworks, and document findings.
• Complaints Handling: Assist in managing complaints by gathering evidence, assessing merit, and supporting resolution processes.
• Training & Awareness: Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to prepare and deliver compliance training, ensuring staff are informed of regulatory obligations and internal policies.
• Regulatory Tracking: Monitor and track staff Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points and Level 5 qualifications to ensure compliance with financial service regulations.
• Strategic Support: Work closely with the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager to support strategic initiatives and align compliance efforts with business goals.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports on risk and compliance activities for internal stakeholders.
• Culture Building: Contribute to fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the organisation.
  
  

What You Bring

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or related field within the insurance industry preferably in the intermediated or brokerage function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as NZCFS L5 is preferred.
