Looking for a Kitchen Manager to work in Omaha Beach. Responsible for the day to day operations of running the cafe/grocery kitchen.

The Kitchen Manager (Cook) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of running The kitchen.

This includes preparing and assembling a variety of fresh, beach-ready food options, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensuring that food is served in an appealing manner to encourage customer purchases.

The Kitchen Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints, using product knowledge and customer service skills to make sales and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety protocols, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Managing inventory and restocking supplies to ensure a consistent supply of ingredients.
  • Support other functions within the store, such as assisting with stock replenishment or occasional customer service tasks, as directed by the manager.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and guidelines in both the kitchen and store areas.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • 2 years of relevant work experience or a relvant qualification

• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role • Good Command of written/ spoken English

  • Good basic maths skills
  • Unit standards 497, 167 & 168
  • Customer service experience
  • Food retail/ fresh food experience
  • Previous checkout experience
