The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with excellent relationship building and people skills to join our high-performing Partner Channel team as a Property Loss Adjuster. You will be reporting to our National Manager, Property & Motor Assessing and based in our Auckland office. You’ll have a genuine desire to build great supplier relationships and deliver great outcomes to our end customers, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the wider team.


Responsibilities

  • Carrying out damage assessments on all types of properties within the Personal Lines & Commercial space.
  • Ensuring properties are repaired within service standards along with managing and mitigating the cost of repair and reimbursement.
  • Completing reports in accordance with reporting criteria and compiling accurate scope of works.
  • Developing professional relationships with property repairers throughout the country.
  • Working in collaboration with the claims team to ensure understanding and resolution of any technical matters.

Qualifications and experience

  • Ideally, you’ll have at least 5 years’ loss adjusting experience, with a broad and deep understanding of damage assessments on all types of properties within the personal lines & commercial property portfolio
  • Excellent technical understanding of property repair processes and ways of managing and mitigating the cost of repair and reinstatement
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Attention to detail
