This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington.

Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.

Are you an experienced Change Manager who wants to help the business succeed in delivery of strategic change initiatives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager to join the dynamic team. In this role, you will ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, adoption, and benefits realisation, while also developing and embedding a robust change management practice across the Product Team and Bluecurrent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve a change management methodology, tools, and templates ensuring effective, transparent and common management of change across Product and wider Bluecurrent.
  • Build change leadership and change agent networks, coach leaders and teams to embed change capability at all levels.
  • Provide visibility and coordination across multiple product change initiatives to ensure alignment, minimise change fatigue, and manage cumulative impacts for both internal and external parties.
  • Define and maintain governance structures, roles, and responsibilities for change management across the Product Team.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for change initiatives and the overall change practice including reporting on adoption, engagement, and customer and business readiness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by capturing lessons learned, sharing success stories, and promoting best practices in change management.
  • Develop and implement business change strategies, plans and processes for strategically significant change.
  • Produce communications plans for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify new roles and responsibilities. Identify training needs across impacted customers and business teams.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, previous experience in complex change management (ideally 7+ years) is required. This change management experience should be within product and service development, managing change impacting customers, and ideally within metering or the energy industry and B2B.

You will bring the ability to communicate complex processes, ways of working, and technical information. Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills are required, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with all stakeholders.
