What will you be doing?

You will partner with a range of FMCG manufacturing clients, enabling them to make data driven decisions that grow their business.

Sharing your strong understanding of consumer attitudes, behaviours, retail purchasing and consumption trends, you will help clients to win new shoppers and increase sales.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Defining business problems through consultations with clients and providing solutions to their business needs
  • Solving briefs with actionable recommendations through incorporating analysis from different data sources
  • Providing and presenting insights through storytelling with data
  • Leading client relationships and proactively develop these relationships to deliver against account plan objectives
  • Overseeing the client contract, financials and renewal processes, negotiating terms when required
  • Taking ownership of a client portfolio with a focus on achieving and surpassing revenue targets
  • Using a consultative approach to identify growth opportunities and deliver solutions that benefit both clients and our business
  • Leading business development activities for targeted accounts
  • Effectively managing all database and report change requests and working collaboratively with the Database Production team to ensure the changes are completed

Requirements

  • Previous experience (3+ years) in category management or insights, within a market research agency, FMCG manufacturer or retailer
  • Previous experience analysing scan or shopper data
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to effectively mine data and derive actionable insights
  • Strong account management, relationship building and client servicing skills
  • A creative and curious nature, with the ability to effectively problem solve
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • A confident persona, with the capability to effectively manage client expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Interested in technological change management and building a future in AI and innovation
