Due to an internal promotion and a series changes at the SLT level and exciting now six month contract opportunity has come available for a skilled Finance Business Partner looking to secure there next contract role. There may be longer term opportunity within the organisation, however given some change at the top this will not be confirmed until the dust has settled and the path forward becomes clear.

The Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team which is responsible for delivering insights and influencing decision making of the leadership teams across the business. To be successful in this role you will perform the following tasks:
The Client Is Ideally Looking For Someone Who Has 5+ PQE Years Experience As a Baseline Minimum, And Has a Significant Track Record Of Performance In Commercial And/or Firm Environment. Beyond This, You Will Bring The Following Experience
You'll be joining an incredibly highly sought after commercial enterprise during an exciting period of change. The role may start off a 6 month contract, however there is definitely opportunity for extensions and even even potentially permanence depending "on how things shake out" over the contract duration. The Role
Responsibilities
The Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team which is responsible for delivering insights and influencing decision making of the leadership teams across the business. To be successful in this role you will perform the following tasks:
- Plan and Monitor Performance - Own, create and refine financial models to support forecasting processes.
- Develop performance reporting and analysis that delivers insights and communicate those insights to relevant business units.
- Support the delivery of group and board reporting, and provide monthly reporting to budget owners.
- Develop and maintain dashboards through Bi tools that support self-service for key stakeholders.
- Support business cases and strategy development, including through providing investment model analysis for new projects, including investments, capex and business cases.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in regards to opportunities for automation of systems and processes in a post implementation environment where they are still ironing out the creases!
The Client Is Ideally Looking For Someone Who Has 5+ PQE Years Experience As a Baseline Minimum, And Has a Significant Track Record Of Performance In Commercial And/or Firm Environment. Beyond This, You Will Bring The Following Experience
- An innovative mindset, who enjoys problem solving, finding new ways of doing things and developing new skills.
- Comfortable operating in a complex, and often ambiguous environment.
- Experience utilising business intelligence tools.
- Advanced user of excel and experience in building and reviewing financial models.
- A willingness to "get stuck in". The reality of their post implementation environment is that some of the tasks one would hope would have been automated are not yet 100% in effect, and as such you will support the automation of these tasks and be willing to perform some of the more mundane, transactional tasks until these are fully automated.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal), and ability to influence and professional presentation.
