The Opportunity
We're looking for a talented and self-driven Frontend Software Engineer to join our Auckland team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our product and grow with us as we scale. You'll have a significant impact in building and improving our TypeScript/NextJS application while working in an exciting environment with ambitious goals.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a talented and self-driven Frontend Software Engineer to join our Auckland team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our product and grow with us as we scale. You'll have a significant impact in building and improving our TypeScript/NextJS application while working in an exciting environment with ambitious goals.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain our web application using primarily TypeScript, NextJS, and Supabase
- Implement new features and improve existing ones by owning outcomes
- Develop and maintain component documentation and examples using Storybook
- Develop complex user interfaces such as custom diagramming tools
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Collaborate with the founding team to refine product direction
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest implementations that could benefit our platform
- Help establish best practices and coding standards
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Extensive experience with React and preferably NextJS
- Ability to mock up basic interfaces at pace using highly practical methods
- Quick learner willing to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment with changing priorities
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to advocate for what’s necessary to push the team forward
- Experience with React Flow
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity and risk
- Understanding that workloads may vary depending on the environment
- Excitement about aerospace and fintech
- Interest in growing beyond purely technical responsibilities as the company scales
- Previous startup experience (a plus, but not required)
- Have built stuff that you’re proud of showing off
