Prince's Gate Hotel, built in 1897 is an old boutique hotel with 51 rooms, restaurant, bar andmeeting rooms. It has been masterfully restored through passionate attention to detail, situated atRotorua's finest address, in the heart of the city.

Position Summary:
Position: Housekeeper

Location of Work: Rotorua

Type of employment: permanent and at least 30 hours per week. Overtime may be required.

Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends

Pay: $24-30 per hour

Key Duties for Maintenance

• Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and common areas.

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.

• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

• Changing bed linens and making beds.

• Restocking minibars and replenishing bathroom supplies.

• Washing dishes, cleaning kitchen appliances, and maintaining pantry areas.

• Collecting and disposing of waste.

• Handling laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and mending linens.

• Assisting with meal preparation and serving food and beverages (if required).

To be sucessfull, you will be required to:

• NZQA Level 4 or above qualification
• At least 2 year work experience in relevant position could substitute the qualification requirement
• Able to work under pressure
• Be good at problem solving
• Mandarine speaking is preferred
