Te tūranga | The role:
As a Senior Business Banking Specialist in our Business Centres, you will be part of a phone-based team responsible for handling inbound customer enquiries. As a Senior role this will suit applicants with past lending experience in roles similar to, but not limited to, a Commercial Account Manager or Home Ownership Manager. Key role asks include preparing lending applications, completing needs analyses, and identifying ways to support & grow NZs Small Business customers.
Key to your role will be providing simple solutions for our customer's businesses across a range of banking products and services and proactively look for ways where we can improve their banking relationship with us.
This is a permanent position and will be based in ASB's Auckland, North Harbor office.

First and foremost, we are looking for an experienced banker who is a team-player, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. A minimum of 2 years lending experience is a requirement of the role.
Success in this role be determined by your ability to effectively prioritise your time while working in a fast-paced environment. You need to be someone who naturally builds and maintains relationships with both internal and external customers with a drive & dedication to work hard for great customer outcomes.
