We are looking for an experienced Counsellor who specialises in brief intervention and has work on matters related to youth, couples, grief, addiction and trauma to name a few.

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
- Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
- Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
- Deliver training to customer employees
- Role focuses on employee care and intervention – say goodbye to admin and paperwork!
- Annual budget set aside for professional development / study

- A strong sense of others – we’re looking for sensitivity and empathy as traits
- Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA
- Tertiary level 7 Counselling or related qualification and a minimum of five years of post-study experience in general counselling is required.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT is desirable
- Can work independently and attend on-sites for psychological first aid.
- Experience in trauma intervention, psychological first-aid
