Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll by collating timesheets and submitting for processing and payment
- Communication: Be the main point of contact for all Christchurch and South Island teams by managing in-boxes and any other messaging. Be the face of the business for all visitors to the office.
- Health & Safety Administration: Support the health and safety function and handle PPE requests/orders and organise random assessments as requested.
- HR Support: Maintain the staff contact register, careers in-box, new employee on-boarding/off-boarding, and provide administration support around recruitment processes.
- Plant Administration: Process road user charges and fuel card orders, vehicle bookings and weekly driver reports.
- General Office Management: Manage the office product orders, expense reimbursements and organise regular social club team events.
- A proactive team player and someone who can manage task-specific deadlines.
- Calm and confident communication skills.
- Attention to detail. Always important when working with payroll, employee’s personal details and vehicle registers.
- A positive attitude, and someone who “gets things done”. This is a role where there is repetition at times and structure at the start of the week.
- Be the “glue” that connects a lot of teams within a respectful work environment.
