Te Tūranga – About The Role
We’re looking for a Category Assistant to support our Bread & Bakery category – a dynamic, fast-moving area that’s central to every Kiwi’s daily shop.
You'll work closely with 8 key suppliers and manage fewer than 100 SKUs, supporting product, pricing, and promotional admin using SAP and Nielsen data. With 3–4 days in the office, this is a great stepping stone into other categories across Merchandise.

You’ll Be
- Managing article creation and updates using SAP
- Supporting promotional planning, admin and error fixes
- Coordinating supplier communications and store queries
- Collating competitor insights and category reports
- Assisting with annual planning, pricing updates and circular proofing

Here’s What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in Bakery, Fresh, or FMCG preferred
- Strong admin and coordination skills with great attention to detail
- SAP and/or Nielsen experience is a bonus
- Comfortable working with data and Excel
- Collaborative, friendly, and ready to learn
