Join Downer's national tender team and play a key part in securing some of New Zealand's most iconic infrastructure projects. Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment, this is your chance to shine, learn, and make a real impact.
In this Tender Support role, you will support our tendering team in developing and preparing tenders, proposals, award submissions, case studies, and other collateral that positions Downer as a "partner of choice" for our customers.
- Coordination, writing, and production of award submissions whilst enhancing our knowledge management function.
- Support the submissions team with tender submissions as required - this could include working with SMEs, Graphic Designers and other stakeholders.
- Collating and manage case studies and news stories, which provide relevant, real-world examples and success stories for tenders.
- Support the bid lead team with organising and facilitating bids, including workshops, stakeholder coordination, document management, and feedback on lessons learnt.
- Support the team with file management and document management on SharePoint.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent, preferably in communications, marketing or commerce is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to present information concisely and clearly
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple pieces of work to ensure tight deadlines are met
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset, with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment
- Responsive to feedback with a demonstration of commitment to continual improvement
