Job Description

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the National Office, ensuring efficiency, productivity, compliance and alignment with BNI Global, regional and national strategic goals. This role manages a team, leads processes, and applies policies to drive operational success.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our [insert team/business unit], ensuring seamless delivery, team alignment, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize operational systems, processes, and workflows
  • Lead, coach, mentor and develop a high-performing operational team and emerging leaders.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and key projects including integration of Core and franchised regions
  • Implement strategy through scorecards according to strategic pillars provided by BNI Global.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on planning and execution and maintain a collaborative partnership with other teams while staying aligned with core expertise.
  • Create, implement, and maintain operational/administrative policies, processes and ensure compliance
  • Drive operational excellence, resource allocation, and service delivery including contributing to procurement, contracts, events, webinars and trainings.
  • Manage P&L budgeting, and risk within operations including finance, HR, legal processes, and conform to budget.

You’ll bring:

  • 5 years’ experience in operational leadership roles and/or Batchelor of Business
  • Strong people management and coaching skills.
  • Understanding of multi-national, cross-cultural environment
  • Proven influencer and servant leadership mentality
  • Ability to demonstrate different approaches to suit different teams, tasks and projects including communicating the detailed solutions to the audience
  • Thinking strategically and holistically
  • Solution focused; take initiative-make decisions

Bonus if you also bring:

  • Experience with CRM and data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of marketing and client engagement strategies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with NZ business practices and/or BNI New Zealand.
