Transport Services Manager

Dav Transport Limited is a dynamic and growing company specialising in household relocations and commercial deliveries across New Zealand. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Transport Services Manager to lead and oversee our logistics and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily transport operations including local and intercity household moves and commercial deliveries.
• Coordinate vehicle schedules, delivery routes, and staffing to ensure timely service delivery.
• Monitor compliance with transport laws, NZTA regulations, and health & safety requirements.
• Manage and maintain records related to vehicle servicing, logbooks, customer bookings, and operational costs.
• Supervise drivers and logistics personnel, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve service efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and third parties to resolve issues and maintain service standards.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Either at least 2 years of relevant experience in transport/logistics management or a relevant qualification.
• Proven ability to lead and manage staff in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
