Firangi Fusion Restaurant is a dynamic fusion dining experience, serving a diverse range of Middle Eastern, Indian, Indo-Chinese, and European cuisine. With our recently launched buffet service, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain high-quality food and service standards, and efficiently manage financial budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the chef to develop and maintain the menu within budgetary constraints.
  • Establish and monitor budgets to meet business targets while maintaining stock control.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for catering, buffets, and special functions.
  • Coordinate and organize catering requirements and special events, working closely with kitchen and service staff.
  • Negotiate the purchase of stock and manage supply agreements.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring FIFO practices to uphold quality standards.
  • Continuously monitor and manage costs, seeking ways to reduce expenses in line with market conditions.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient business operations and staff management.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and have in-depth product knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with council food control plans and health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and implement strategies for business improvement, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Indian, Middle Eastern and European cuisine is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage customer complaints professionally and maintain high service standards.
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and late nights as required.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Benefits:

Guaranteed 32 hours per week.

Pay Rate: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
