Firangi Fusion Restaurant is a dynamic fusion dining experience, serving a diverse range of Middle Eastern, Indian, Indo-Chinese, and European cuisine. With our recently launched buffet service, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain high-quality food and service standards, and efficiently manage financial budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the chef to develop and maintain the menu within budgetary constraints.
- Establish and monitor budgets to meet business targets while maintaining stock control.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for catering, buffets, and special functions.
- Coordinate and organize catering requirements and special events, working closely with kitchen and service staff.
- Negotiate the purchase of stock and manage supply agreements.
- Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring FIFO practices to uphold quality standards.
- Continuously monitor and manage costs, seeking ways to reduce expenses in line with market conditions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient business operations and staff management.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and have in-depth product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with council food control plans and health and safety regulations.
- Identify and implement strategies for business improvement, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Indian, Middle Eastern and European cuisine is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage customer complaints professionally and maintain high service standards.
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and late nights as required.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
Benefits:
Guaranteed 32 hours per week.
Pay Rate: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
