Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Deliver secure, high-performance backend APIs and services that align with banking compliance and performance standards.
Support integration testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring of applications.
Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong experience as a full stack developer with core expertise in .NET and C#.
Hands-on experience working with Apache Kafka in a production environment.
Solid background in enterprise integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Experience working within banking or financial services environments, with understanding of relevant security and compliance practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is advantageous.
Any exposure to Salesforce or nCino is a bonus but not required.
What We’re Looking For:
A senior developer who brings initiative, ownership, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions effectively.
Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
Passion for technology, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.
Must be based in Auckland or Wellington and able to work onsite when required.
A note about experience.
We do not need a specific number of years of experience. We hire a broad range of experience levels and offer positions that correspond to our assessment of your capabilities through the interview process and the market relevance of your skillset. We value industry experience, deep technical excellence and, more of all, a demonstrated ability to influence outcomes.
