PwC New Zealand is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our dynamic Customer Transformation team in Pōneke / Wellington or Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland . You will bring your knowledge and assist in solving the most important problems for our clients. You will take a holistic view of transformation, integrating strategy and operations to increase productivity and growth.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective Salesforce configurations and solutions.
- Lead the functional design, implementation, and optimisation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Align with delivery processes to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
- Document solution design, user stories, user acceptance criteria and test scenarios to prepare for development and testing efforts.
- Build long lasting client and team relationships.
- Provide strategic guidance and best practices to ensure system integrity and operational effectiveness.
- Leverage AI in various ways to accelerate delivery of Salesforce for clients
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.
- Strong experience with Salesforce platforms like Sales Cloud or Service Cloud is essential.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in the Financial services industry or Public Sector industry necessary.
- nCino experience is preferred and desired, but not necessary.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, integration, and functional configuration.
- Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Involvement in Salesforce implementation projects that have been longer than 6 months.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven experience leveraging AI to deliver Salesforce solutions at speed.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain English to clients and colleagues.
- Ability to travel within New Zealand as needed.
- Customer-friendly attitude with a focus on building strong client relationships.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
