Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial Painter located in Wellington. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying intumescent and protective coatings, operating painting equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently. Additionally, the Industrial Painter will conduct inspections, perform touch-ups, and maintain equipment in proper working condition.

Qualifications

• Experience with surface preparation, intumescent coatings, and protective coatings
• Knowledge of painting equipment operation and maintenance
• Understanding of safety and quality standards in industrial settings
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow project timelines
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications and training in industrial painting and safety
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
• Previous experience in industrial or commercial painting is a plus
