Kitchenhand

Our busy pizza shop based in Auckland is seeking a 3 full time kitchenhand to join. As a Kitchenhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our kitchen. Your daily responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Job Description:

• Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving
• Handling, sorting and Packing food for serving
• Unpack and store delivered food supplies
• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas
• Daily Kitchen Cleaning and ensuring food and hygiene standards according to Food Control Plan
• Disposing off kitchen rubbish and food waste
• Any other duties as assigned by the employer

Key requirements:

• Minimum school passout
• Must be able to work late evenings
• Must be able to work during weekends and public holidays
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
