Second Response Foreperson

As a Foreperson, you’ll be the go-to person on site, directing people, and resources to complete jobs on time and to the highest standards. You’ll be hands-on with scoping and planning, technical support, quality checks and most importantly, ensuring safety is front of mind across every task. It’s a role that offers a mix of leadership, technical input, and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
- Leading field teams to complete jobs safely, efficiently and to spec
- Scoping work, planning resources and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring plant, equipment and compliance checks are up to date
- Providing coaching, feedback and guidance to your team
- Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring daily reporting and audits are completed accurately and on time
About you:
- Relevant trade qualification and current EWRB practising licence
- At least 5 years’ experience in the field with a strong safety mindset
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage team performance
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes, policies and standards
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to make decisions under pressure
